Our Simple Process

Creating a memory quilt shouldn't be overwhelming. At Nice Blanket, we've intentionally designed our process to be simple and focused on you. No cutting. No complicated order forms. No trips to the fabric store. Just a simple way to turn your favorite shirts into a beautiful memory quilt.

Place your Order

Place your order here on our website. Select your backing and binding fabrics during checkout, or add a Fabric Swatch Book to choose them later. We'll then prepare and ship your personalized Quilt Kit.

Adding a Fabric Swatch Book? 
We'll include it in your Quilt Kit so you can see your backing and binding fabric options in person and choose the colors that best complement your garments.

Gifting a Memory Quilt? 
During checkout, choose whether you'd like the Quilt Kit shipped to you or directly to your recipient.

Receive your Quilt Kit

Your Quilt Kit includes everything you need to select and send us your garments including simple instructions and a prepaid mailer.

Select your Shirts

Gather the number of shirts listed in your Quilt Kit instructions. Use the included Quilt Square Viewfinder to preview how each shirt may look as a quilt square. If a shirt has graphics on both sides (like most jerseys), feel free to use the included stickers to indicate which side(s) you'd like us to use.

Ordered a Fabric Swatch Book?
After comparing your shirts with the fabric swatches, use the link in your email to make you final fabric selections before mailing your shirts.

Send Your Shirts

Place your shirts in the prepaid mailer provided in your Quilt Kit, and drop it in the mail.  

Don't cut your shirts!
Send each of your shirts as they are.  We'll professionally cut each shirt during the quilting process and use the backs of your shirts to create your quilt's one-of-a-kind border.

Receive Your Quilt


Sit back while we create your one-of-a-kind memory quilt.  Once it's finished, we'll ship it directly to your door.
